Architecture In Helsinki – “Heart It Races” + cover by Dr. Dog

If you’ve heard either of these bands before, you probably would’ve never seen this cover coming. Australia-based Architecture In Helsinki’s catchy & unique, upbeat electronic music is quite different from Dr. Dog’s Americana-washed, folk-rock goodness. But that’s what makes this cover so great. AIH’s “Heart It Races,” track 2 on 2007’s Places Like These, has this tropical/tribal sound to it, the only song like it on the album. Dr. Dog throws in their twangy guitars & keys to give the song a much more organic, jam-like feel. Both versions are excellent, hope you enjoy them! Finder’s credit: Sarah |
