Tiny Victories – “Mr Bones” (Video)

Earlier this week, Tiny Victories released a music video for “Mr. Bones,” the first single off the Brooklyn-based duo’s debut EP, Those of Us Still Alive. Not only is the two-piece’s brand of electro-pop infectiously catchy, but the dance party shown in the clip looks like barrels of fun. I want to go to there.

White Arrows – “Roll Forever”

White Arrows Roll Forever

In a lead-up to its highly anticipated debut full-length, Dry Land Is Not A Myth, White Arrows premiered a new single, “Roll Forever.” The dizzying psyche-pop track is a blatant tribute to ecstasy, but who needs drugs when you can listen to music, right? (Don’t answer that.) Dry Land Is Not A Myth is slated for a June 19th release via Votiv Music. White Arrows is currently on tour in the States and Europe. Check out tour dates here.

Here We Go Magic – “How Do I Know” (Video)

The new video for Here We Go Magic’s’s latest single, “How Do I Know,” is a quirky love story between man and woman…and machine. Directed by Sean Pecknold (yes, he is Robin Pecknold’s brother), the video is set in hazy Palm Springs and features Janet Pants as a delightful dancing robot. If this doesn’t put a smile on your face today, nothing will. This tune is the first single off HWGM’s forthcoming album, A Different Ship, which is slated for a May 8th release via Secretly Canadian. You can pre-order it here.

AU – “OJ” (Video)

The video for AU’s “OJ” is much like the song it illustrates–frenetic, ethereal and colorful. The track comes from the Portland-based duo’s latest release, Both Lights, which was released earlier this month via The Leaf Label.

First Person Shootr – “Punch Struck” (Video)

Fred Warmsley claims that his musical inspiration came from listening to ’90s R&B in his mom’s Camero (read: The Deele, The System and Tony! Toni! TonĂ©!). In the Spring of 2011, the young musician decided to combine this genre with ambient instrumental, minimal, and 2 step, and First Person Shootr was born. Warmsley released his debut EP, Mobility for Gods, at the end of Ferbruary via Lefse Records. Above is the artsy video for his first single, “Punch Struck.” Enjoy!

Bam Spacey – “Vi Delar Samma Grav”

Bam Spacey Vi Delar Samma Grav

So much great music is coming out of Sweden as of late, and the minimalist techno producer Magnus Johansson is no exception. Creating sounds under the moniker Bam Spacey since 2007, the composer has shifted to vocal driven electronic composition in his latest release, lending to a surreal, optimistic soundscape, even if his single, “Vi Delar Samma Grav,” translates to “We Share the Same Grave.” The four-track single was released April 3rd, with an EP entitled, Land EP, scheduled for May 22nd, both via Ceremony.
