Aan – “I Don’t Need Love”

My good buddies, Aan, just filmed a video up in their hometown of Portland for their new single, “I Don’t Need Love.” The clip, which is part of Into The Woods‘ “Feels Like Home,” series, was shot in drummer Jon Lewis’ bedroom and looks like quite the balloon party. The nearly four-minute-long track features vocalist Bud Wilson’s squealing pipes and disjointed instrumentation. The song is the first single off the quartet’s upcoming debut LP, Amor Ad Nauseum.

Dana Buoy – “Call to Be” (Video)

Dana Buoy is the brainchild of Akon/Family percussionist Dana Janssen. Like the moniker entails, this project is light, carefree, and poppy, as is its first video. The clip for “Call to Be” was directed by Sam Molleur and stars Janssen trying to keep up with a cute girl on a run…but in an innocent yet somewhat stalkerish way. The track comes off Dana Buoy’s Summer Bodies LP, which is out now on Lefse Records.

Disclosure – “What’s In Your Head”

Disclosure Whats In Your Head

London producer duo Disclosure is gearing up to release its Face EP on June 4 via Greco-Roman. Though only 20 and 17, respectively, brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence have already toured the UK and Europe, including opening for SBTRKT during his UK tour. From the sounds of the EP’s second single, “What’s In Your Head,” this four-track album is a perfect soundtrack to summer.

Tiny Victories – “Mr Bones” (Video)

Earlier this week, Tiny Victories released a music video for “Mr. Bones,” the first single off the Brooklyn-based duo’s debut EP, Those of Us Still Alive. Not only is the two-piece’s brand of electro-pop infectiously catchy, but the dance party shown in the clip looks like barrels of fun. I want to go to there.

White Arrows – “Roll Forever”

White Arrows Roll Forever

In a lead-up to its highly anticipated debut full-length, Dry Land Is Not A Myth, White Arrows premiered a new single, “Roll Forever.” The dizzying psyche-pop track is a blatant tribute to ecstasy, but who needs drugs when you can listen to music, right? (Don’t answer that.) Dry Land Is Not A Myth is slated for a June 19th release via Votiv Music. White Arrows is currently on tour in the States and Europe. Check out tour dates here.
