First Listen: Wilco (The Album)

| Wilco (The Album) seems to follow the same formula as their highly acclaimed 2007 release, Sky Blue Sky. If you’re a bigger fan of Wilco’s earlier works, their new album blends the old and new quite nicely, though it seems to drag on a little towards the end, the last few tracks are reminiscent of what made Sky Blue Sky Wilco’s “boring album” according to most critics. Regardless, Wilco (The Album) is still incredibly satisfying. Clocking in at just under 43 minutes, these short and sweet little tunes prove that Wilco have found their sound and are sticking to it……well, at least for now. | |
