Lana Del Rey just dropped her video for “Ride”, her latest song off “Born to Die – The Paradise Edition”. Shot in the Nevada desert, “Ride” is a noir, sultry Instagram portrait of an American fantasy, filled with dusty roads and Hell’s Angels, headdresses, cow-boy boots and Levi’s cut-offs, Jack Daniel’s and bonfires, pinball-machine sex and helpless wanderlust from this year’s hottest babe. Love it or hate it, but the bordering-on-cliché feel of this 10-minute short film is a visual delight. |
