As the current trend in indie-rock/pop leans toward a glittery, dreamy synth-pop reminiscent of the 80’s and infatuated with concepts of nostalgia; Museum Mouth’s amusingly titled, “Sexy But Not Happy,” is here to remind you that punk never died. “Sexy But Not Happy” is 13 tracks of anthemic, classic garage rock. Of course the lo-fi aesthetic has been rather popular as of late, with groups like Harlem and the slightly more mellow Beach Fossils, but few do it with such genuine honesty as Museum Mouth. The record’s opening track, sharing the name of the album itself, embodies everything Museum Mouth is great at: messy guitar riffs, energy, and a shout/sung

chorus. That’s not to say the succeeding songs; however, are not of as, or better value (they are). Jam out to pure energy and emotion with “Sexy But Not Happy.”
