The new 7 inch for “Leave Everywhere” has been much talked about over the past few days. I just wanted to add newdust’s voice to the chorus by saying that this song is great. It is a departure in production style for Toro y Moi. I am anxious to see if this is a summer time fling or a long term commitment to a new sound. The new single is out July 20th on Carpark Records. I wanted to take a minute and post about Bye Bye Blackbird. A dreamy electro pop outfit hailing from San Francisco. Last week I was in a serious funk at work when I was lucky enough to stumble upon BBB’s single “Pure”. The song really put me in a great mood with it’s beautiful vocals and trance-like melodies chiming away with every beat. I hope you all love this track as much as I did. Enjoy!
