Wise Blood – “Loud Mouths” (video)

Check out the new video from Wise Blood for the track “Loud Mouths”. This video is slightly NSFW, but mostly takes you on a cryptic journey of murder, kidnapping, and betrayal. All shot in hi-def in a mauseleuem built in the 1920’s. Get Wise Blood’s EP “These Wings” on iTunes here and enjoy.

Yip Deceiver – “Get Strict” (video)

Check out the very surreal video for Yip Deciever’s bangin’ single “Get Strict”. I have been HUGE fans of these guys since seeing them live in DC back in January. (Read my review of the show here.) The band is made up of Davey Pierce and Nicholas Dobbratz, both members of Of Montreal. Grab their EP here and pay attention, because these guys are destined for top 40.

Summer Camp – “Better Off Without You” (video + show)

Our blogger friends over at ATG have organized a a KILLER show at U Street Music Hall tonight (RSVP and get more info HERE) featuring Summer Camp, Gigamesh, and Ghost Beach. This video has been floating around for a while now, but it is so infectious I had to share. This track is a hit, and you can be sure their album, “Welcome to Condale” (buy it HERE) is chock full of equally delicious tracks. Enjoy, and see you tonight!

Mausi – “sol.”

A little love for our DC blog broz over at All Things Go. ATG recently launched a record label titled appropriately, ATG Records. Running a label is a tough business, and I give these guys a nod for bringing another label to DC. The Mausi single “sol.” is breezy and cathcy as hell. Grab the 7″ on February 20th, with “sol.” as the A-Side and a Lightwaves remix as the B-Side. Pre-order here.

Best Friends – “So Far Away” + “Body Rock”

Best Friends hails from Chicago, and specializes in pop-dance gems. The production duo/band’s self-titled EP has been on repeat for days and some tracks have already made it on to my party/workout list. Check out the “video” for “So Far Away” above (my personal favorite off the EP), and the BANGER “Body Rock”. It is not hard to imagine Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, or even Katy Perry singing either of these songs. Grab Best Friends’ EP on iTunes (link here) and party down!

The Shins – “Simple Song”

The Shins Simple Song

Stream the new track from indie darlings The Shins. “Simple Song”, off their upcoming album “Port of Morrow”, is an instant gem and proves that singer/writer James Mercer still has what it takes to deliver unique, quirky, and delicious indie-pop. Enjoy!

I dare you to resist this stripped down version of Lana Del Ray’s indie-hit “Video Games.” Well done babe.
