I really do not want to belabor what has already been said about Julian Casablancas’s new solo record Phrazes for the Young. I will attempt to let the music speak for itself. This track was leaked several days ago and has a slightly different sound from the album’s single 11th Dimension. “River of Brakelights” is a little darker and alot funkier. The album drops in the United States on November 3rd. Enjoy! |

Check out the much anticipated new single from Julian Casablancas of The Strokes. The album titled, Phrazes for the Young, is set to be released on October 19th. Casablancas sounds full of energy and has definitely fashioned a fantastic sound. I am glad to see him tinker with his pop formula while not trying to reinvent the wheel.
