I did a post on Cinéma Vérité back in May about their debut album Perfect Day (which is now called Sunrise, Sunset and is set to release in October). So here’s their first ever music video for the song “Tired Hands.” Check it out, and be sure to pick up their debut record in October which they’ll be selling through their website once it’s released. |

I was perusing Superhumanoids‘ blog today and came across this rad video for Flying Lotus’s “MmmHmm”, off their May 2010 release Cosmogramma, featuring the “love-makin’ music” stylings of Thundercat. |
Death In Plains‘Mustard Polo EP is the perfectly noisy, experimental pop record for the summer. Here’s Enrico Bocchioletti’s music video for “Whirlwind,” off Mustard Polo’s b side.
This is it folks. The first official iPhone 4 music video. Director Marty Martin, with the help of musician Steve Failows (aka Flakjakt), collaborated over a period of less than a week to create it. In 2 days Failows wrote a new track specifically for this video and they loosely conceptualized for those 2 days in an effort to be first out of the gates with an iPhone 4 music vid. Great video, and a fantastic song! Download it on bandcamp.

Can’t get enough of this song! Here’s the terrifically retro video for Here We Go Magic’s “Collector,” off their latest, Pigeons. Check ‘em out here in Dallas @ The Loft on August 3rd w/ Beach Fossils. |

Los-Angeles based The Hmmm have teamed up with renowned Madrid photographer Vincent Urbani for the making of the video for their single “Face2Face” off their upcoming album They Need a Hatcheck Girl at the Silver Dollar. I love that album name for some reason. No info on the release date at this time, but it will be out sometime later this year. This video is a really cool combo of art, fashion, photography, and music, which just so happen to be a few of my favorite things. Enjoy! |
| Here’s a really cool video from Norway’s The Shock! for their newest single “In Silence”. I’m especially fond of the opening sequences with the children playing cowboys and indians, it’s very Where The Wild Things Are-esque minus the monsters of course. Very well produced and directed video, and the song reminds me a lot of The Killers, which isn’t entirely a bad thing. Enjoy! |

Many thanks to Team Sweet for emailing me this video, because I can’t get this song out of my head. Tourettes is a hip-hop artist from New Zealand, and “Miss You (ft Caoimhe)” is the third single off his latest album Who Said You Can’t Dance To Misery? Really cool video too. Enjoy! |
