The Clientele – Bonfires on the Heath
 Merge Records announced Monday that British four-piece The Clientele are all set to release their 5th album, Bonfires on the Heath on CD, LP, and digital download. |

| The group’s unmistakeable bossa/pop sound, mostly attributed to front man Alasdair MacLean’s soothingly eerie vocals and reverb-heavy guitar lines, have made their previous albums Strange Geometry (2005), and God Save the Clientele (2007) true gems in the massive library of indie pop music. Merge states that the new album will be a return to their roots; “the dreamlike suburban landscapes first encountered in the early singles”. The album is scheduled to release October 6th. | |
