Bluegrass is not normally a genre I tend to dive into, but when tastefully combined with something danceable, wonderful things can happen. The Seedy Seeds are able to use the banjo and mix it with electronic beats. They bring us back to simple Americana, while captivating modern ears. The trio recently performed at New York’s CMJ festival, an annual showcase of burgeoning indie music stars. If you are someone that has a tendency to listen to such artists as The Books, you will definitely enjoy these guys.
