This is the best thing that has happened to my cochleas in a long time. The Smiles And Frowns ‘09 self-titled is a collection of terrifically whimsical, jangly pop tunes that scream 1960s. It’s got that Magical Mystery Tour charm to it, with songs that tell well-crafted stories of fantastical characters.
