Uniform Motion – “Roll Over”

I just got a hold of this song literally about ten minutes ago and had to share it; I can’t get enough of it! Uniform Motion is an indie folk-pop, “shapeshifting arts collective” out of the UK. They’ve got an artist/illustrator, Renaud Forestie (cover art above), who is actually considered a member of the band, who travels with them to shows and live-sketches, on a projector, an ongoing graphic narrative that corresponds to the music and lyrics as they perform. The above link will take you to their vimeo page that has many live vids, etc. Their latest album, Life, is set to release in the US February 9th. I was lucky enough to get a promo copy, and let me tell you, it’s something to get excited about. Here’s track 3, titled “Roll Over.” |
